The Lord of the Rings
The Lord of the Rings is an epic high fantasy novel written by English philologist and University of Oxford professor J. R. R. Tolkien. The story began as a sequel to Tolkien's 1937 children's fantasy novel The Hobbit, but eventually developed into a much larger work. It was written in stages between 1937 and 1949, much of it during World War II. It is the third best-selling novel ever written, with over 150 million copies sold. This is from Wikipedia.
Now I would like to tell my memory of this movie.
The title of the novel refers to the story's main antagonist. I watched this movie three years ago.I was ninteen years. Over two thousand years later, the Ring is found by a river-dwelling hobbit called Déagol. His friend Sméagol immediately falls under the Ring's influence and strangles Déagol to acquire it. Sméagol is banished and hides under the Misty Mountains, where the Ring extends his lifespan and transforms him over the course of hundreds of years into a twisted, corrupted creature called Gollum. He loses the Ring, his "precious", and, as recounted in The Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins finds it. Meanwhile, Sauron reassumes physical form and takes back his old realm of Mordor. Gollum sets out in search of the Ring, but is captured by Sauron, who learns from him that "Baggins" now has it. Gollum is set loose, and Sauron, who needs the Ring to regain his full power, sends forth his powerful servants, the Nazgûl, to seize it.
Achilles VS Hector
Achilles and the Neared Cymothoe: Attic red-figure kantharos from Volci (Cabinet des Médailles, Bibliothèque nationale, Paris)
In Greek mythology, Achilles (Ancient Greek: Akhilleus, pronounced was a Greek hero of the Trojan War, the central character and the greatest warrior of Homer's Iliad.
Later legends (beginning with a poem by Statius in the 1st century AD) state that Achilles was invulnerable in all of his body except for his heel. As he died because of a small wound on his heel, the term Achilles' heel has come to mean one's point of weakness.Monday, 15 October 2012

BBC
Today I'm listening and reading in BBC about holiday congestion in chana 9 October 2012.
Millions of people in Chana are returning to work after a rare, eight-day public holiday, a traditional time for spending money and spending time away from home.
I hear to this, I have five new words.
1- Entitlement:
Something that you have eight to do or have, or when you have the right to do or have something.
2-Enforc:
To make people obey a law,or to make a particular situation happen or be accepted.
3-Unprecedented:
Never having happened or existed in the past.
4-Appeal:
When a lot of people are asked to give money, in formation or help.
5-Strain:
A force or influence that stretches, pulls or puts pressure on something, sometimes causing damage.

My city, Abha
Abha
I'm writing today about my city in Saudi Arabia. Abha has many shopping centers and some interesting shops along King Abdullha and Fahad streets in the city centre. There are two universities, a men's university and women's university and many excellent libraries. There is one lively theatre.Abha has many beautiful parks, for example, park Delgan and Alvra.
